A Magic tree is a rare type of tree that requires level 75 Woodcutting to chop down; each tree yielding one or more magic logs.

Each log cut gives Woodcutting experience. After being chopped down, the respawn rate of a magic tree ranges from two to three minutes, so it is highly recommended to world hop afterwards. The chop rate of magic logs is noticeably slower than that of yews, but does significantly.

A magic tree can be planted in the Garden of a Player-owned house. It requires 1 bagged magic tree, a watering can, and 75 Construction. When built, it earns the player experience, and is used as a decoration; thus, it cannot be cut down. Players cannot use a crystal saw to gain a +3 Construction boost to plant this tree, however the +3 boost from Tea made in a player owned house will allow players to plant Magic Trees.

Magic trees are Farming plants grown at level 75 Farming. A magic tree is grown by planting a Magic seed in a filled plant pot.A gardening trowel is needed to plant the seed, then it must be watered.

After 15 minutes or less, the planted seed will become a Magic sapling and can then be transferred to a tree treegrinding.bar tree patch must be raked clean of weeds.

Magic trees are one of five trees to possess a constant animation, along with the Dramen tree, glowing trees, Arctic Pines, and Bloodwood trees. Two magic trees can be found outside the Mage Training Arena in f2p worlds, but they cannot be cut on f2p worlds. With the update on 13 MayMagic trees are much taller, and seem to have a curved trunk.

Tree farming without woodcutting Is there a way to clear a tree patch without a sufficient woodcutting level to cut the tree in it? For example: if I plant a magic tree but only have 50 woodcutting, is it impossible for me to clear that patch since I don't have the level to peach tree cuttings down the tree.
